Congratulations to Conrad!

Grade 12 Grad

Conrad got all kinds of academic awards and we were all very proud of him.

Nick (above) also graduated from MBCI and cousin Trent (below) graduated this year too.

Grad Festivities

Near the end of June we had a family reunion for my mom's side of the family - the Janzen's. My cousin, who lives in our neighborhood hosted the party and she, Arthur and I planned it. We wanted some traditional Mennonite input, so Arthur made roll kuchen at our house on the morning of the party. That was a high-light for some people!

Mom shared some stories of what she remembered and then everyone contributed their memories too. It was a lot of fun!

Arthur and I were in charge of decorations so right before the start, I quickly carved a watermelon in commemoration of the great event!
