Arthur's latest sweater is finished.
This is the one he was working on when we went skiing in February.
Arthur designed the sweater himself. For the knitters out there: The front was knit up first, then the back and they were sewn together at the shoulders. Then the sleeves were picked up and knit down to the cuffs. As you can see, each cable is a different color. The cables are in repeat row patterns of 8 or 24. The collar was the last thing knit and he continued the cable colors in the ribbing. It's a work of Art!
Erik has finished 1st year university!
He's taking Arts and he really enjoyed his courses this year. He took intro courses in English, International Development, Theatre, Human Geography and Anthropology.
It was kind of a marathon finish so there's been a whole lot of work
getting done in the past few weeks.
The picture above shows Erik hunkering down with a Theatre essay
that was due the next day.
I was on my way to bed when I snapped the picture.
(Notice the time?)
Conrad is also working hard these days.
He's got extra things going on at school.
He's doing the lights for the school musical so that means lots of extra hours.
Arthur's Uncle and Aunt moved off their farm this month.
They'd lived there since Arthur was 12 or so.
We went a few days to help them with the china and the pictures
and whatever else they needed help with.
We'll post some pictures later of them settled into their new place in town.
