Happy Thanksgiving

We celebrated Canadian Thanksgiving on Thursday with the Canadians and Americans on the MCC Laos team. It was a great time of getting together and enjoying each other. Kesone (the MCC cook) managed to find two medium-sized turkeys and everyone else contributed the trimmings. It was delicious.

Erik and Conrad Cooking

One of our goals for 2007 has been to teach Erik and Conrad how to cook so whenever possible they cook one thing on the weekend. Some weekends we are away or busy so it isn't always possible. This Saturday we had lots of time so they worked on making a wonderful supper for us. Conrad made sausage lentil soup and Erik made cheese biscuits. It was delicious.

Conrad had made a huge batch of soup so we took to a church potluck on Sunday. There were no leftovers after that but there were a lot of satisfied people!
