Paris last day

After a late breakfast we headed off to Versailles. Even the interior of the train looks like the palace.

There must be a million visitors to Paris right now and many of them were at Versailles today.

We took the train back to Paris after a late lunch.  Then we went to the Arc d'Triumph. We've taken many a visitor to a copy of this monument in Vientiane, so had to come and see the original.  

There are 280 stairs to get to the top.

We made it all the way up.

You can see Sacre Coeur on top of the hill.  

Just another monument we saw on the walk to supper from the metro.  Time to repack and get ready for the next leg of the journey.
