Paris

By the time we made it to our hotel it was only half an hour until check-in time. The room was already made up, so we were able to get in right away. After a shower we were ready to head out onto the streets of Paris.

But first, a stop for lunch on Rue St. Germaine.

We walked down many a quaint street.

We rested in a quiet park. 

Our final destination was the Tour Eiffel.

We only made it to the second floor, as they had over loaded the top and weren't letting any more people go to the top. They could use a bit of crowd control expertise.

We took the metro back to our area of town.

We had supper on the sidewalk.

Near the hotel are many restaurants and shops.

It turns out that the Pantheon is just around the corner from our hotel.  We learned quite a bit by taking a walk around the neighbourhood.
