Amsterdam last day

Our final day we headed out of town.  Here we are at the central station.

We went to Zaanse Schans to see wind mills in action.

The whole area is way too quaint to be real.  

We had a Dutch pancake for lunch.  There is a canal and a sheep behind Phyllis. 

Dutch cheese.  

Most of the wind mills charged entry, but the spice mill was free.

We took a ferry across the canal.  It cost 1 euro.  

Even in Holland people park outside of their garage.

The village has a completely boarded up church.  Very sad to see. 

The rest of the day was spent in transit.  We took a late flight to Basel from Schipol.
