Paris

After breakfast at the hotel we headed off by foot towards the Louvre. We crossed the Seine to get there.

The entrance to the Louvre is in the glass pyramid.

Here we are inside the pyramid.

There is tons to see.

It looks like Arthur is back in Iraq.

The Mona Lisa. Always a crowd.

We crossed the lovers bridge. Men will sell you a padlock and lend you a sharpie to write your names on the padlock, then you can lock it onto the bridge and throw away the key. Eternal love guaranteed?

After lunch we went to the Musee D'Orsay. Oops, no photos allowed.

Then we took the metro back to Notre Dame. There was a huge line to get in, but it moved quickly. The church is celebrating 850 years this year.

One picture of the interior. Even though the sign says "silence" it was pretty loud in there.

On our way out we went around the back of the cathedral.

From there we walked to the Pantheon.

The pictures are much larger than life.

Buying fruit near our hotel.

Supper at a creperie.

After supper we went shopping. We found some "macarons". Very good.

In the distance we could see the Tour Eiffel lit up.
