February's Theme Meal was...

...Fondue!

(You guessed it from the picture, didn't you?)

The six of us got together one fairly cold evening to warm ourselves by the flames that cooked our food. We had three fondues. The first two came together and they were cheese (shown above) and hot oil (in the foreground of the people photo). We dipped meat, French bread (made by Arthur) and vegetables. And we had lots of sauces to add flavour.


The nature of it being a fondue meant that it was a leisurely meal with lots of breaks and times to talk. But each person had 4 fondue forks so things kept moving along.


Our finale was a chocolate fondue with all kinds of fruit and baked goods to dip into the chocolate.
