The End of June and Part of July

One weekend in July, we made our annual trip to Kenora to stay with Arthur's uncle and aunt at their cottage. Other Manitoba relatives also joined us. This year we had beautiful skies but the air and water were too cool to tempt anyone to go swimming. We had lots of fun hanging out, catching up on stories and relaxing.

Our official summer started off when Brendan, our nephew, graduated from High School. In the photo below, he's standing between his parents. His graduation class was small -- only 11 students -- so we got to take in most of the festivities such as the ceremony, the banquet and the speeches. We were very happy to be a part of this event in Brendan's life. We are very proud of him!
