Conrad is 14!!
Conrad had a birthday and celebrated by
sleeping in, eating out
and playing with some youth group friends.

We went out for supper
to Full Moon Cafe for burgers

We came home for cake and presents.

The gift opening ground to a hault when Conrad opened some BC curriculum math books that his father had asked Cyndy to bring for Conrad. (Photo above) The school here is not using a math text and this frustrates both son and father so the solution was to get these math books. There was much rejoicing as Conrad looked through the Grade 9 text and said "This is exactly what I'm taking in math!" We anticipate homework time to go more smoothly in the future.

He also got money, a music CD, two books by Ken Oppel

and a soccer whistle.
