Breakfast

Our hotel is a typical building in Hanoi, with nine floors and only one room wide. There are three rooms per floor and we were fortunate to get the front room with two big windows, one room looks into the elevator shaft and the other has a small side window.
Upon arrival we were informed that breakfast would be available between 7:00 am and 8:00 am. We weren't informed that it would be mandatory. We get invited to breakfast by phone at 6:55 am each morning. It felt like this morning many people declined the invitation, as we were the only ones there.

Usually, breakfast is a buffet with stir fried rice, French fries, toast and eggs fried on demand. When there are more Asian clients we get noodle soup and meat as well. Two times we have been given a menu to order from. We go back up to our room after breakfast to shower and get ready for the day.
